SISTERS OF MERCY A man is driving down a lonely highway at night when, all of a sudden, he passes a sign which reads – House of Prostitution – 30 miles. It takes him a second or two to react and he says too himself Damn – did I really just see what I thought I saw?. Ten miles further down the road the sign appears again Sisters of Mercy – House of Prostitution – 20 miles. Ten more miles down the road, the same sign and then, finally, Sisters of Mercy – House of Prostitution – next exit. He takes the exit and arrives in front of a large convent house. He goes to the door and knocks. An elderly nun answers. - Excuse me sister, says the man, is this, in fact , a house of prostitution - Yes it is, you’ve come too the right place, says the old nun. - How much does it cost, for, for ummmm. - Don’t be shy, it’s 200 for a good time, says the nun. The man pays the elderly nun 200 dollars and is told to go down the hall until the end, to turn right at the statue of the blessed virgin Mary and continue to the third door on the right. - That’s the place you want, says the old nun. The man follows the nuns instruction, goes down the hall, turns right at the statue, goes too the third door on the right, goes through it, shuts it behind him and finds himself outside, facing a large neon sign which says – Congratulations – you’ve just been screwed by the Sisters of Mercy!
