The triple j feature album is the Melbourne artist’s first top 10 debut and the second highest first week sales by an Australian hip hop artist in 2013. To celebrate the release, Illy has announced The Cinematic National Tour for March 2014. Fans will be treated to the best of Illy’s catalogue including new singles Youngbloods featuring Ahren Stringer (youtube/watch?v=_at41JJ0dRQ) and On & On (youtube/watch?v=sbwgyHCm_0o). Tickets are on sale from Monday 2 December. Joining Illy on The Cinematic National tour is Jackie Onassis. The Sydney hip hop duo have had a massive year, labelled by UK’s BBC as a ‘Next Hype Artist’ and triple j’s ‘Next Crop’, ‘Unearthed Feature Artist’ and were nominated for ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’. Also added to the killer line-up is Melbourne emcee Remi, fresh from taking home the j award for ‘Unearthed Artist of the Year’ and smashing out The Avalanches, Since I Left You on ‘Like A Version’.
