STATE LEVEL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board, Nagpur (International Day for Biological Diversity - 2014). Maharashtra State Biodiversity Board (MSBB) is organising a Photography Competition on the eve of 22nd May International Day for Biological Diversity - 2014. The theme of the competition is “Memorable Moments in the Forests of Maharashtra”. The different categories for the photography competition are: a) WLBD: Wild biodiversity of Maharashtra (Animals/Plants) b) WNPL: Wild Natural Pristine Landscapes in Maharashtra c) THBD: Threatened / Endangered Wild Species of Maharashtra (Animal/Plants) This competition is open for Amateur Photographers in Maharashtra. The closing date for submitting the application form with photographs is 19 th May 2014. The prizes are as under for each category First prize : Rs. 15,000/- and Certificate Second Prize : Rs. 10,000/- and Certificate Third Prize : Rs. 5,000/- and Certificate Consolation Prizes : Rs. 3,000/- and Certificate Special Appreciation : Appreciation Certificate The final result of competition & prize distribution programme will be communicated separately.
