*** STORIES FROM THE LIFE OF JESUS, BY HIS MOTHER *** 5.0 out of 5 stars Smile and read on. October 23, 2014 By David Cousland When I first saw this book I confess to being somewhat surprised. To take on this subject the writer must either be very brave or completely daft!!!!!! Christopher in my opinion is certainly brave mixed with a very whacky sense of humour. As the title suggests, the book is written from Marys viewpoint, traditionally set (almost) but with a 21st Century outlook. He takes you on Marys journey from the Annunciation to the birth of Jesus and onwards. His humour shines throughout, with descriptions such as Grand Central Camel Station and Sending a shepherd up the hill to tell the serenading angelic host to be quiet; The three Kings being ripped off by a camel vendor in Damascus evoke great pictures. He follows on with tales of the flight into Egypt, the Wedding Feast at Cana etc. While the humour is apparent throughout he still manages to show respect and deference where required. It is a must read for anyone with an open mind and a sense of humour. Enjoy it, I did. Available from Amazon goo.gl/7XJey4
