STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART Let Go and Let God! Kneeling down - TopicsExpress

STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART Let Go and Let God! Kneeling down before the cross in total surrender – casting all our cares upon the Lord is one thing. Going back and picking them up because of impatience is another. When we petition the throne room we must do so believing that because we are in right standing with God, He will answer our prayer. At times our prayers are answered right away other times there are delays. In Habakkuk 1:2, Habakkuk asked How long, O LORD, will I call for help, and you will not listen. We must never lose faith once we pray. We reinforce our prayers when we continually thank God for whatever we ask, showing faith that we will eventually receive it. God’s timing is perfect and He is an “On time” God. I believe that God answers our prayers when He is convinced that we are equipped to handle whatever we ask for. Sometimes God doesn’t hear us when we pray because according to Psalm 66 and Isaiah 5, there is sin in our lives. Another reason the Lord will say No is when what we pray for is in conflict with His word. The Lord is a prisoner to His word. We need to allow God to work at His own pace and in His time. He has the perfect plan for our lives. God is all-knowing; allow Him to use that aspect of His supernatural ability to your advantage. God told Habakkuk that even though he didnt think He was listening, He was working on a plan that was so much bigger than him. Just Let Go and Let God. Have a blessed day.
