SWINTON YOUNG PEOPLE SHINE AT THE LOWRY After 2 months of rehearsals, 12 young people from Swinton took to the stage to give a live performance at The Lowry Theatre last week. The singing and dance performance depicted the effects that drug taking has, not only on the users, but on their families as well. Funded by the Swinton Community Committee and City West Housing Trust the young people performed in front of a full house. Standing up on a stage like this takes an enormous amount of bottle, so well done everyone! Thanks also to Salford Youth Service, and the Lowry Theatre itself.
