Sad news of Bodh Gaya blast : Sad that minorities are not safe in secular India. A “born secular” government at Delhi had prior intelligence inputs from IB on it, a “newly certified secular” government of Bihar also reviewed the security of this “minority” place of worship 2 days back – yet cannot prevent attack on the secular value of country. What a bolt on secular values of our country. Not heard any one on TV yet says its attack on minorities in India, minorities are not safe, etc. What is disturbing is thought from Intelligence Bureaus that Bodh Gaya was target because of happening in some third country (Burma). This was again claimed by IB and press conf of another “secular” ruled state of Delhi. For shake of our Secular values - CBI should investigate if IB inputs were 100% correct to final details and action which followed – as is being done on other killing of terror suspect even if IB and FBI claims otherwise ( In “secular terms” this encounter is called cold blooded murder of innocent people and gross violation of human rights). Also read some-where that under “born secular” government of Centre and secular government of Andhra Pradesh(HYD), UP(Varanasi), Delhi (Batla House),Maharashtra (Malegon) etc – there were cases when minorities were harassed in these incidents. All these should be probed by CBI as to if intelligence inputs were 100% correct and also action by these “born secular” government for safe guard our secular values. Not that I support one over other in this debate – but equally sad to see the tamasha going in name of secularity for one encounter and ease with which different rules are applied in name of secularism, vote bank and obsession with one person from all groups involved in these debates. We will be safe if we don’t involve Intelligence agencies in this politics and treat everyone equally when it comes to security – gold bless India
