Sadly, we are leaving in several cars to make the trip almost 3 hours away to say our final goodbyes to Papa. His heart is rapidly weakening, and he called to tell us we need to come. *Tears* We will miss this brave, slightly crusty, 93 year old veteran of WWII and Omaha Beach. He loves the Lord and though a little anxious, says he is not to be afraid to go into the presence of our precious Lord Jesus. We love you Papa! Reposting this old 2011 piece.
