Sailors Log #2, September 29 2:25pm. Captain James Nagengast starting cracking the whip at 3:45am for an on time departure of 4:00am... Official departure time 4:06am. Crew received a encouraging but strong tongue lashing. Witnessed a breath taking sunrise that could only have been painted by the hand of a god. We spent the day sailing in Rhode Island Sound towards our final destination for the day, Block Island. The Chief Napper excused himself from the bridge at 4:50am sharp for his first of three naps of the day. We estimate that he has only been the Chief Navigator 2.5 hours aka AWAKE! Big Al, yet to be given an official title from our Captain has proved to be a valuable team member in a variety of ways. Quote of the day Dont pee into the wind - Big Al. Minnesota land lover alerted crew that a Great White shark was about to attack Lady Ashley but shark was later identified as porpoises, False Alarm. Tallied 51 Nautical Miles.
