Sale arranged on facebook results in an attempted armed robbery-Two Teens Arrested On Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at approximately 5:45 PM Worcester police were called to the Dunkin Donuts located at 648 Chandler Street for a report of an attempted armed robbery. Upon arrival, officers met with the 23-year-old male victim who stated that the incident happened after he arranged to sell a pair of sneakers at the location. The victim communicated through facebook messages with an unknown person who agreed to purchase the sneakers. The victim was sitting in his vehicle when he noticed another vehicle pull up behind him. Two males exited the vehicle and approached the victim. One of the males threatened him with a gun. They demanded that the victim hand over the sneakers. The victim stated that he did not have the sneakers with him. The two males abruptly fled the scene. The victim was unharmed. Several units responded to the area. Officers recovered evidence and were given a detailed description of the suspect vehicle. A short time later, the vehicle was located on West Street. The vehicle was unoccupied. Officers located the suspects walking in the area of West Street and Pleasant Street. Moses Early, 18, of 84 Orchard Avenue, Oxford, MA was charged with Assault with Intent to Rob. A male juvenile from Auburn was charged with Assault with Intent to Rob.
