Salvation Is Not By Works! Since the early days of human history on earth, mankind has tried to get to Heaven by their good works; but, no amount of works can ever atone for sin. Only the blood of the sacrifice of Christ could bring access to our Heavenly Father and forgiveness of our sins by grace (free gift of God). For Jesus is the One referred to in the Scriptures, where it says, The Stone (Jesus) that you builders rejected has now become the Cornerstone. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:11-12 (NLT). After the sin of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, all mankind was in a fallen state and sin reigned; but, God in His mercy sent His only begotten Son to die in our place that we might live with God through eternity. For God loved the world so much that He gave his One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him (Jesus) (Yeshua) will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 (NLT). Our loving God made provisions for us to be saved and washed clean in the precious blood of His Only begotten Son, Jesus. God saved you by His grace when you believed. And you cant take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are Gods masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He (God) planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:8-10 (NLT). Salvation was made easy for us: If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. Romans 10:9-10 (NLT). No amount of good works will ever suffice for sin: We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our righteous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags. Like autumn leaves, we wither and fall, and our sins sweep us away like the wind. Isaiah 64:6 (NLT). For just as the Father gives life to those He raises from the dead, so the Son gives life to anyone He wants. In addition, the Father judges no one. Instead, He has given the Son (Jesus) (Yeshua) absolute authority to judge, so that everyone will honor the Son, just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son is certainly not honoring the Father who sent Him. John 5:21-23 (NLT). Salvation from sin is a free will gift from our God: Jesus told her, I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in Me will live, even after dying. Everyone who lives in Me and believes in Me will never ever die. Do you believe this, Martha? Yes, Lord, she told Him. I have always believed you are the Messiah, the Son of God, the One who has come into the world from God. John 11:25-27. The Apostles were given the command to take the Gospel (Good News) of Jesus to the world: And He (Jesus) ordered us to preach everywhere and to testify that Jesus is the One appointed by God to be the judge of all: the living and the dead. He is the One all the prophets testified about, saying that everyone who believes in Him (Jesus) (Yeshua) will have their sins forgiven through His (Jesus) name. Acts 10:42-43 (NLT). Then He (Jesus) asked them, But who do you say I am? Simon Peter answered, You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God. Jesus replied, You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in Heaven has revealed this to you. You did not learn this from any human being. Matthew 16:15-17 (NLT). Have You accepted Gods greatest gift to mankind: Jesus as your own Lord and Messiah? Time is growing short and the Day of Grace will soon end! For He (God) has set a day for judging the world with justice by the Man (Jesus) He (God) has appointed, and He (God) proved to everyone Who this is by raising Him (Jesus) from the dead. Acts 17:31 (NLT).
