Sania appointed UN Brand Ambassador Dr. Juanita Bynum hyderabad, November 25: United Nations Organisation today appointed Indian Ace Tennis Player Sania Mirza as its Brand Ambassador to fight against violence against women in South Asian nations. Sania Mirza, who is Brand Ambassador of Telangana State, is elevated with this offer by UNO. She will involve in UNO activities to promote programs and publicity against violence on women in South Asian nations. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday after knowing her nomination to United Nations as a campaigner (brand ambassador) for cordial relations, the Indian tennis star said she would perform her responsibilities accorded by the United Nations, at here level best. Sania said she would fight for eradicating violence against the women and standing against all obstacles. She opined that there is a clear discrimination against women in the society, Sania said.
