Sata is Playing Double Standards on Corruption Fight – FDD The opposition FDD has accused President Michael Sata of playing double standards in his fight against corruption. FDD Spokesman Antonio Mwanza says delays to suspend North Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu for alleged corruption are an indication that President Sata is exhibiting double standards in the fight against graft. Mwanza said President Sata has in the past acted on similar allegations by suspending Ministers and their Deputies. He said the selective manner in which the fight against corruption has been handled by President Sata renders the entire crusade worthless. Efforts to reach Government Spokesman Joseph Katema and State House Special Assistant for Press and Public Relations George Chellah proved futile by broadcast time. Meanwhile, Mwanza has reiterated the need for Parliament to pass a legislation that will compel any Minister or MP facing corruption allegations to step down. He said enacting a law that compels erring Ministers to leave their posts will go a long way in the fight against corruption.
