Saturday 08/03/14 They call this super Saturday as Meydan has a super card on but for me it is tough Saturday very few to go on tofay but here is my fancies. Wolverhampton 2.20 Chookie Royale @ 6/1 Various Never seems to stay the 10 furlongs at Lingfield LTO and this drop back in trip and retuen to Wolverhampton should bring about a revival in form.Form around this course really stands out and was solid here when last seen 2 starts ago taking a class 2 race with pretty much ease.This is a step up in class but is over a C&D which this has shown remarkable form around and if it can run its true race here today then should be at the very least hitting the place money.Should chase the pace and if can sit in and get covered up behind the leaders then would have every chance turning for home. Meydan 1.10 Asmar @ 7/1 Bet365 Was beat for pace LTO over 8 furlongs but shaped as though a step up in trip would bring about a better performance and should run a much better race here today over this extended 9 furlongs.Looks to be under rated on current mark and although was never in the race LTO from about 2 furlongs out it can show a much better showing around this trip today.Would be no surprise to see this win here but at the very minimum hold serious place claims. Meydan 1.45 CatCall @ 8/1 Various Interesting runner here who was unlucky last start when not breaking properly from the stalls and was always chasing the race from the erly stages.Has ran some very good races over this trip and having already had a run in its stride so far over here it should be able to take advantage of those having first run over here.Drawn in stall 2 and not to badly drawn for this large field over this trip and will probably break and sit well in behind the early pace and try and get a passage through heading to the final furlong.Sole Power is the obvious danger and Shea Shea usually needs a run before it performs and this looks a prep for World cup night at the end of March.
