Saturday is a good day to eavesdrop So am sited in a matatu,awaiting it to get full because this day is not that busy compared to weekdays.Most people are asleep nursing hang-downs. A lady sits next to me.Yes I had seen her being escorted to the stage by one of the notorious chips funga Guy in our area.At times I think he is competing for an award for fungaing the larges no of ladies.He always escorts them to the stage.I have noted on many occasions. The matatu leaves for town and the lady greets me.This is so unusual in a matatu.I smile and say hi.....She then tells me that she has forgeten her purse at home but she can trade airtime and I pay her fare.I decline the offer and pays for her asking her to keep the airtime,Anyway the busfare is 50 bob only.I know she has no money because she does not live around..so the forgetting pursue is just a theory. This gets me thinking,deep thoughts...thoughts flood in my mind,1001 thoughts.Why does a lady leave her home to come spend at someone who will not even provide fare after fungaing you the whole night?.Why are ladies so vulnerable...Few drinks makes you wake up in someones bed.Someone who will not care how you get home after having a good time. And guys if you chipo someone who does not work,pliz give them fare..stop making us panda mbegu mahali hatutavuna. #Matatueavesdropping
