Saudi Student Dies After Paramedics Barred From Treating Her For Fear Of Gender Mixing Amina Bawazir, a social sciences graduate student at the King Saud University in Riyadh, died of a heart attack after the university authorities barred the paramedics, who were male, from entering the women-only campus, for fear of gender mixing. Aminas sister told the Al-Arabiya website that the ambulance crew arrived minutes after the heart attack, but was allowed to enter only two hours later, after a barrier had been erected to hide the men from the women on campus.
