Saw the most surprising film tonight. By its title and poster, I thought The Faded Gigolo would be cheap laughs and shallow but went to see it on the strength of my man crush on John Turturro ... it was brilliant! Woody Allen was great, the supporting cast was perfect and the story-line was sweet and touching and unexpected. Go and see it. Its right up there with The Grand Budapest as my favourite film of the year so far. WARNING : It will make you want to live in New York (even more)
