Sea Hawk Football Newsletter: Sept. 14th, 2013 RUHS 35 – Antelope Valley 14 It was not the start the Sea Hawks were hoping for, but we can’t complain about the finish. After going down 0-14 in the first quarter, the Hawks had to pull themselves out of a hole. A surge of offense points late in the first half, and our “D” shutting down their “O”, put RU back on top. However, it is our hope that a valuable lesson was learned…we can’t afford to come out without enthusiasm and passion in this game. Next week we face a talented Culver City team that has beaten the Hawks several years running. A strong showing is needed to prove we can contend with explosive teams, and get the experience to compete in a tough Bay League.
