Sea Isle City Police Officers save victim of a drug overdose with NARCAN On 11-8-2014, Members of the Sea Isle City Police Department responded to a residence for a report of an unresponsive male, called in by a Family Member. Officers found the 30 year old victim not breathing and began to perform rescue breaths. After determining that it was a drug related overdose, Officers administered the first dose of Narcan to the Victim. After approximately 5 minutes, the Victim was still unresponsive, so Officers administered a second dose of Narcan to the Victim. The Victim began to respond shortly after the 2nd dose and was transported to Cape Regional for further evaluation. This is the 8th documented Narcan save administered by Law Enforcement Officers in Cape May County, since Cape May County Prosecutor Taylor provided the Narcan kits to Law Enforcement Agencies in July of 2014.
