Seems like the people who can hurt us the most are the ones who are closest to us. They are alway making equations about our lives. They say because of X =(disqualifying statement) you could never be Y=( the goodness you hope to be). Therefore X+Y=unworthy or whatever adjective you want to insert. I like to think about equations from Gods perspective. I think it probably goes more like this. You are already Y in spite of X! You see our critics are always waning us to solve for all the variables in our lives but God has already solved for ALL of our variables when he died on a cross for our sins.......... For while we were still sinners Christ died for us!
