Senate Republican Leader Bob Huff (R-Diamond Bar) gives a preview of the final month of Legislative Session in Sacramento in his Capitol Comment report for the week of August 4th, 2014. The State Legislature is now back in session for its final month following a four week summer break, and legislators face hundreds of unresolved issues. These issues include the crafting of a new water bond to be placed on the November 2014 ballot and legislative efforts to exempt fuels from Californias notoriously expensive cap and trade law. The State Legislature will adjourn for the year on August 31st, 2014.
