Sending good wishes to our friends Johnny Crawford and his lovely wife Charlotte for what I am sure will be a great night at Maxwell DeMilles Cicada Club tonight....Johnny has a lilting voice and sings in a style that all vocalist aspire to replicate. Great both dancing and listening... I am sure it will be a swell night. Also want to extend good wishes to Sylvia Cohen who turned 95 yesterday...a wonderful lady whose Son is one of my dearest friends. The lady still live on her own and is fit as a fiddle...Best wishes to our friends Hutton Wilkinson and his lovely wife Ruth as they arrived in St. Louis yesterday...we had a delightful dinner the other night as I did last night with my darling friends Toni Prima and her sister Luanne Prima or Prima Realty in Palm Springs...highly recommend for your dining pleasure Marino Ristorante where Mario took such good care of us. At 3 I will be with my friends at The Boys and Girls Club in Burbank today where I am told they will present me with a special piece of art designed by one of the kids, and unveil the new name of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Room in my honor--- and believe me I am humbled by this...by the way I am one of those people impacted by the GM recall so if you have a GM vehicle please check the extended and never ending list of make model and year to make sure your vehicle is safe....It could save your life.
