Senior Project Engineer Position - Midrand A well-established market leader in Electricity and Automation Management, is looking for a self-motivated Senior Project Engineer. The successful Incumbent must have good planning and Client Relationship Management Skills Salary being offered is: R460 000 – R700 000 per annum plus benefits. The successful candidate must have: • Matric • Relevant qualification in Engineering at NQF Level 6/7 • Minimum 5 years exp in the delivery of Industrial Automation and /or Information Management Systems • CitectSCADA Min. 2 year exp. • Project management software tools (MS Excel, MS Project) • Database and MES technologies and conceptual design • Driver’s license Duties & Responsibilities • To coordinate the production of cost effective detailed engineering designs in liaison with external consultants and technology partners. • To ensure awareness and compliance with project quality procedures (QA). • To manage individual priorities, deliverables and utilization (time management). • To assist with the preparation of tenders including responsibility for technical solution design. • To do onsite project work as required. • To conduct site supervision and control of installation phase of project. • To ensure timely and safe work practices. • To identify and review all project variations. • To assist in initial project planning to develop required tasks and estimate time requirements for those tasks.
