Sent to the director of Kemptville campus regarding are Equine studies next year!!!! Hello Claud, I am currently part of the western rider program here at Kemptville College. I was very upset to hear that the school planned on removing the western program but deciding to possibly keep the english course. This is upsetting for the western riders because we feel that it is very unfair. When first applying to this program we had the choice of enrolling in the western program and I feel that it is only fair to end it that way. Please let me know what you think about this situation, Thank you His response: Thank you for your email. Following the announcement of March 12, 2014, the campus is winding down its operation by the end of Winter semester 2015. Consequently, our primary focus is to provide you with the educational experience that you were promised when you enrolled in the program and to ensure that you complete the second year of studies within the next academic year. Regrettably, the number of participants in western riding classes is so small that we cannot realistically afford to offer the classes. This was not an easy decision, but under the circumstances we had no choice but to cancel the classes. Sincerely, Claude
