September 21st, 10:00 a.m. Sundays at Readers. Proceeds to benefit SVDOG. This Sunday morning we are pleased that our guest beneficiary will be SVDOG, i.e., Sonoma Valley Dog Owners & Guardians. The folks at SVDOG are dedicated to promoting the welfare of dogs in the Sonoma Valley. They model and promote responsible dog ownership through educational outreach programs, publications and events. They write letters and lobby for humane and progress treatment of dogs. And they do this because they love dogs and know firsthand the difference a well cared for dog can make in a persons life. Its as simple (and as powerful) as that. Come down and meet them. Browse our bookshelves, sample Janne Campbells unbelievable croissants, Danishes and sticky buns. Remember: ten percent of whatever you purchase from 10 a.m. to noon will go directly to SVDOG.
