Serious Two Vehicle Crash, Arthur Highway. A 68 year old Murdunna woman is in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a critical condition after a two vehicle crash on the Arthur Highway south of Forcett at about 1pm today. The injured woman was the driver and sole occupant of a blue Toyota Yaris which was travelling in a southerly direction on the highway. When negotiating the exit of a sweeping right hand curve, her vehicle has collided with a bronze coloured Mitsubishi station wagon which was travelling in the opposite direction. The Mitsubishi was being driven by a 52 year old woman. The driver and her passenger, a 65 year old man, were not injured. Both occupants of the Mitsubishi reside in California and were touring the state. The investigating officer, Constable Adam Hall from Sorell Police, would like to hear from any member of the public who may have witnessed the crash or seen either vehicle prior to the incident.
