Serious inquiries only! 2006 APHA #883570 Boscontender Very nice, willing, broke flashy bay paint gelding! He currently is very consistently placing in the top of the 3D also getting into the 2D at big and local barrel races. I have no doubt he will get better. More of a free runner. Big boned and sound. Has a huge motor and a huge stop. Broke for about anyone that knows how to ride just out and about on trails or moving cows etc. He is not hot at the gate, doesnt have any issues. He has been brought along slow and correct never pushed over his limits, he was a bit slower maturer and a lot of that has to due with his breeding. I do not believe in pushing a horse until they are ready. He has been lightly started on poles, also been used in 4H events. He has had pretty limited and inconsistent hauling which is my fault(I had a broken foot for 6 months and then another horse of mine got hurt) but does very well being hauled always eats and drinks good. I think he could make someone an awesome all around rodeo horse if someone were to take him and put some roping training on him. He has great feet can keep him barefoot or put shoes on. He is an absolute sweet heart to be around. Extremely gentle. I have given a few lessons on him to more experienced youth. *He is PBRIP enrolled and can be enrolled in other incentives.
