Servanthood by Curse and Servanthood by Blessing: Submission is your dignity By David Lynn One of the most interesting things we see in scripture is that God makes the role of a servant (usually the role of the cursed) the role of kings. What does this mean? It means that Christ became the curse for us and now makes honorable what we once thought was a curse. Except, this time, our servanthood is not given due to a curse, but given due to honour (not because any racial group or gender was more honorable than the other), but because of Christ, who was honorable and was willing through forgiveness to bestow his honor to you. So what does this mean? This means that not only was Ham Cursed to servitude, but ALL have sinned and fall short. All are cursed to servitude through sin unto death. The very presence of sin makes us all ashamed, cursed before God. Who is therefore superior to their fellow man? None are righteous, no not one. Adam and Eve was cursed, then Cain, then Ham, then all. So what room is there for boasting? Are the Whites more superior than the Blacks? The Chinese more than the Brown? The Jews more than the Gentiles? The Blacks more than Jew? None are righteous, no not one. It is Christ that redeemed us from the curse of the law, and he alone has boasting rights. Feelings of racial or positional superiority is simply a sign that you are on your way to HELL and dont yet know JESUS! God said: Genesis 9:25-And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren. And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant Jesus said: Luke 22:25-27-The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them...But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve...but I am among you as he that serveth. Redemption through Christ provides the person in worldly roles of subjection dignity because it is no longer through curse, but through a blessing. You now serve Christ, who will reward you as royalty. Women, no longer think of your position of servitude (Slavery) and submission to man as a Curse, but as an honor, a ministry opportunity and blessing, to be like Christ, closer to the real meaning of a Christian. You are called to slavery. Descendant of Ham, no longer think of yourselves as cursed or inferior, but superior in that you are a servant (slave) of Jesus, closer to the true meaning of a Christian. You care called to slavery. Men, no longer think of yourselves as superiors simply because of your role on this earth, but as inferiors in all humility knowing that the very one that redeemed you, looked more like the one who serves you (the woman), and that in itself shows you how far you are from Christ. The more you act macho, is the further you are from being saved and knowing Christ. The quicker you become like a women (in servitude/slavery), the faster you can be saved and know Christ. You are called to slavery. Descendants of Shem and Japheth, no longer think of yourselves as superior nations to the rest because of your role on this earth, but as inferior nations in all humility knowing that the Chemetic peoples who serve you are, are (in their servitude), mirror reflections of the very Christ who suffered, bled, and died for you. The more you fill their shoes, is the quicker you can be saved. The more you isolate yourselves from your brother Ham, the further you are from true salvation in Jesus. You are called to slavery. Whatever role you are in, we are ALL called to servitude, slavery to Jesus. No one is called to ease up on their servitude simply because one serves us. There is no such, He doesnt love me so I wont submit. Those white men are wicked, I should be wicked in return. We all are independents who will answer to the one that we serve Jesus. Your slavery is honorable IF YOU KNOW JESUS! Look at the New Testament commands through this lens. Wives: Ephesians 5:22-Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord....Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Colossians 3:18-Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. 1 Peter 3:1- Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives..For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:...Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord Those in positions of Servitude: 1 Peter 2:18-21-Slaves, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully...For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Titus 2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Colossians 3:22-Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God; Ephesians 6:5-Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;..Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Those in positions of superiority: 1 Peter 2:16- As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Colossians 4:1- Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven. Ephesians 6:9-And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him. Husbands: Ephesians 5:25-Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Colossians 3:18-Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. 1 Peter 3:7-Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life; that your prayers be not hindered.
