The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for sleet and freezing rain...which is in effect until 6 am CST Monday. * Timing...a band of mixed precipitation...mainly sleet and freezing rain...will enter far western sections of south central Wisconsin around 11 PM CST and move across the area through 6 am CST. * Sleet/snow accumulations...1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. * Icing...up to 0.10 inch. * Impacts...the combination of sleet freezing rain...and some snow will glaze untreated roads...driveways and sidewalks making them slick and hazardous. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.
