Its important for those who are true followers and servants of the Most High through his Son Christ to know that we will encounter and go through many things. Thats why its important to know these things to prepare yourself through scripture because the Most High have already shown us what we must go through and how we can make it through those tough times when we encounter them, by giving us his Son as a example and also the 12 disciples as well. As a true follower of the Most High we must prepare our souls for temptation and we must be prepared for anything that comes at our way, but we must stand on truth and trust the Most High at all times. Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. Deny - To refuse to recognize or acknowledge; disown; disavow; repudiate: Precepts to Matthew 16:24: Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Those who are true servants of the Most High will have to deny themselves and take up there cross and follow Christ, meaing when you take up your cross you will have to face the same persercution, affliction and tribulation like the other servants and disciples of the messiah. (We must understand that the same things that the true servants disciples and friends of the Messiah in the old times those who are called into this truth must go through the same persercution as the prohpents servants and disciples of the Messiah did.) True Servants/Friends/Disciples of the Messiah Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. (A true servant friend, and disciple of the Messiah will convert sinner from ther error, by giving them the truth and shall save a soul from death, and hide a multitude of your sins. Thats what it means by bearing much fruit, guiding souls back to the Father.) Matthew 10:37-38 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. 38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. Loveth - 1. To have a great attachment to and affection for. 2. To have a profoundly tender, passionate affection for (another person). (A true servant of the Most High God of Israel will love the Most High through his Son more than there Father, mother, son, daughters, this doesnt mean, dont show them love, but rather show the Most High God of Israel more love through his Son, because it is the father who does for you through people. A true servant of the Most High will take up his cross, meaning during the will of the Most High and bearing all the afflication, persercution, suffering, and even death for the word sake. ) Matthew 19:29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my names sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. Forsaken - To quit or leave entirely; abandon; desert. (A true servant of the Most High wont hesitate to forsake his houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for the Messiah names sake, but by doing so you will recieve an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.) John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments. (A true servant of the Most High will keep the Most High commandments.) 2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. (The true servants of the Most High will fall into divers temptations, but we must know that this is the trying of our faith.) John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Precept to John 17:14: 1 John 3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you. (True servants of the Most High will be hated, because the Most High God of Israel through his Son choose you out of the world to enlighten you with the truth about who you are and what is going on in this world filled with lies.) Variance - The state, quality, or fact of being variable, divergent, different, or anomalous. Foes - A person who feels enmity, hatred, or malice toward another; enemy. Precepts to Matthew 10:35: Micah 7:6 For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a mans enemies are the men of his own house. Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death. (The true servants of the Most High family members will turn on them and come against them for the truth. Thats why in Matthew 10:36 it says And a mans foes shall be they of his own household.) Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my names sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. (When you are a true Servant of the Most High through his Son you will be hated for the Son names sake.) John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (Those who are true servants of the Most High You will have tribulation in the world, but the Messiah tells us to be of good cheer for he has overcome the world, we are to follow his example.) Matthew 10:16-19 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. 17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; 18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. 19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. (Some men will deliver the true servants up to the counciles, and they will scourge them.) (The true servants/Friends/Disciples of the Messiah will be persecuted for his name sake.) John 15:14-16 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. Ordained - 1. To invest with ministerial or sacerdotal functions; confer holy orders upon. 2. To select for or appoint to an office. (The true servants of the Messiah are not his servants, but they are his friends, whatsoever he command them to do they do it. For the Messiah have chosen you and ordained you to go out into the highways and byways and preach this gospel to the poor and sinners so that you can bring forth fruit, work that is.) How can the True Servants/Friends/Disciples of the Messiah Endure all that they go through? Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man. (The True Servants of the Most High must be watchful and praying always that they may be accounted worthy to escape all the things that are Matthew chapter 24 and Jacobs troubles that they may be able to stand before the Son of man when he returns.) Ephesians 6:10-18 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. 13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; 15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: 18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; (Here are ways that the true servants of the Most High can endure all that they go through while fighting this spritual battle. They must put on the whole armour of the Most High which is 1. having their loins girted about with truth 2. bresatplate of righteousness 3. feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace 4. the shield of faith 5. helmet of salvation 6. sword of the spirit 7. praying alwyas 8. watching with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.) 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. Ceasing - To stop; discontinue. Precept to 1 Thessalonians 5:17: Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint; (Those who are True Servants of the Most High you must pray without ceasing, meaning always be in prayer.) 2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. Endure - To undergo (hardship, strain, privation, etc) without yielding; bear. (The True servants of the Most High must be watchful of all things and endure afflictions, they must do the work of an evangelisit and make full proof of there ministry.) Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Most High with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Precept to Proverbs 3:5: Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: (Those who are true servanats of the Most High God of israel you must put your trust in Him at all times with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding, meaning the things you know, becasue we fight not against flesh and blood, but evil spirits.) Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. (They true servants of the Most High must be wise as serpents, and harmless as a dove when doing the Most High God of Israel well.) Ecclesiasticus 2:1-4 My son, if thou come to serve the Lord, prepare thy soul for temptation. 2 Set thy heart aright, and constantly endure, and make not haste in time of trouble. 3 Cleave unto him, and depart not away, that thou mayest be increased at thy last end. 4 Whatsoever is brought upon thee take cheerfully, and be patient when thou art changed to a low estate. (All the true servants of the Most High must prepare there soul for temptation set your heart aright, and constantly endure, and dont be so quick to run in the time of trouble or when trouble comes your way for the word sake. You must cleave unto the Most High God through his Son who is the Messiah and we are not to depart away from him. Whatever that is brought upon us for the word sake weather it be affliction, persercution or anything we are to take it cheerfully, and when we are changed to a low estate meaning not having much we are to be patient.) Conclusion The whole conclusion of this study lesson is to allow all those who are called are shall I say chosen to be in this truth and serve the Most High God of Israel to know what they must go through how they can endure while going through what they do and to show them their reward if they wait and endure until the end. We must understand that the same things that the true servants and the disciples and prophets we through in the old times those who are called into this truth must go through the same persercution as they did. Ecclesiaticus 2:5-9 For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity. 6 Believe in him, and he will help thee; order thy way aright, and trust in him. 7 Ye that fear the Lord, wait for his mercy; and go not aside, lest ye fall. 8 Ye that fear the Lord, believe him; and your reward shall not fail. 9 Ye that fear the Lord, hope for good, and for everlasting joy and mercy.
