Shared from Lisa Thomas.... ATTENTION: Heads up! A SCAM!!! Just got a call from 470-237-2331 stating they were going to serve me papers. Have gotten this call in the past, stating they were going to sue me for bank fraud charges. I dont write bad checks. After some research. they are calling and threatening people with law suits for fraud, threatening to suspend their drivers licenses, etc....but if you can pay them a small fee...they can keep it out of court. Apparently, they used to call from Norway, but have since gotten a number out of Atlanta, GA. Do not give them any information, as it is a SCAM!!! Creditors dont call you to warn you of impending service prior to a lawsuit, they just have you served. Also, this outfit may state they are trying to collect on debts that may well be over 10 years or more old...they cannot pursue debts older than 7 years. Dont fall for this! If you see this number...dont answer it.
