Sharing a bittersweet day with my wife as her 15 year run at CAMC W&C comes to a close & she transitions to Mountain State Medical Associates. So many memories, I remember the shift work, as newlyweds, I would be leaving for work as she was getting home. I remember juggling newborn twins between two crazy schedules & shift work. The girls LOVED a quick visit with mommy and eating at the hospital cafeteria! I remember the promotion to charge nurse and a better schedule. Then came a move to another area within the hospital. The Childrens Infusion Center. Now, Alicia has always cared about her patients and families. But the kids & families that she treated there became her passion! Then the move to WVU Physicians of Charleston where she continued to care for those same patients. CAMC always talks about it, but from day one until today she has truly given her heart & soul to those in her care! Ive never met anyone with more drive and determination, commitment & work ethic! Alicia I am so proud of you!! I love you with all my heart!! You will be great!! #Psalms375 #Jeremiah2911
