Sharing of Nobel Peace Prize this year by individuals belonging to two inimical countries, Kailash Satyarthi & Malala Yousafzai, sends positive signals to broker peace for the welfare of people of India and Pakistan. Divided by borders but united by peace, the award brings to focus the plight of children in the sub-continent. The BCG, on their 68th sojourn, while felicitating the winners, discussed the gross inequalities in social & economic status of girls and discussed means for Empowerment of and investment in girls to break the cycle of discrimination and violence and in promoting and protecting the full and effective enjoyment of their human rights. To observe International Day of Girl Child ,the Group decided to adopt girl children to meet their educational & health needs. Ms Ravinder Sra of Millennium School, while flagging off the rally, invited the members to join Marathon tomorrow for awareness of Organ Donation. Pedaling around the Industrial Growth Centre, spotted the upcoming Cancer Research Centre,The Tribune Printing Press and Institute of Hotel management.
