Sheikh Uthaimeen Rahimahullah said: Jealousy is calamity for the one who is tested with it and causes rage in the heart of the jealous individual. Every time Allah bestows His bounty upon an individual his rage, grief and anxiety increases and this is the reality of the situation. But the question is: Does your jealousy actually intercept or interrupt the bounty of Allah upon other than yourself? No, it doesn’t. Will being jealous actually bring you any good? No, it won’t.
