Shibir stages demo in Dhaka protesting genocide by Zionist Israel in Palestine UN, OIC and Arab League must take needed steps to stop mass murder in Palestine- Chhatrashibir In light of the announcement made earlier, Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir brought out a protest demonstration and held a gathering at Dholaipar in the capital city Dhaka in protest against brutal attacks and plain genocide caused by the illegitimate Zionist entity Israel in Gaza strip of Palestine. Shibir leaders said in the post-demonstration gathering, “Since she formed statehood illegitimately by the help of the imperialist evil quarters, Israel has been launching barbaric genocide against Palestinians. But, very unfortunately, various influential states as well as organizations like UN etc are, instead of undertaking measures to stop such brutal mass murder, supporting Israel, the very ‘unrepentant killer’. Such amoral and illegal encouragement is a good reason behind Israel’s ceaseless barbaric audacity. As a sequel to the said brutal schemes, the last several-day attacks on Gaza made by cowardly Israel killed over a hundred Muslims including men, women and children and injured thousands more. Israeli military aircrafts are still on the attack. But, regrettably, neither the powerful states nor the so-called ‘global guardians’ took any effective steps yet to stop Israel. We’d like to urge global organizations like UN, OIC and Arab League etc to undertake effectual steps to put an end to Israeli attacks on Palestine. Furthermore, we urge all the human rights watchdogs to speak up in favour of humanity and justice and, of course, not to keep mum.” The protest demo was jointly headed by the Central Shibir leaders, namely the Central Student Movement Secretary Zakir Husen Salim, the Central Research Secretary Mostafizur Rahman Ashu, the Central Library Secretary Saidur Rahman and the Central Secretary of Madrasah Affairs Muhiuddin etc. Website URL: english.shibir.org.bd/news/details/956
