Is it a place for pilgrimage??? A GHQ of joint forces?? What exactly is there to protect; the buildings, the foreigner community or the image of Pakistan???? Infrastructure; Did anyone notice any destruction of public property while coming from Lahore to Islamabad? No! not even a single tree was destroyed then why would a group of literate and determined demonstrators will destroy the property inside red-zone??? Foreign Community; Why so worried for them? Just because we are scared of not getting the foreign aid and international relations? Excuse me! Do we really have good international relations and a commendable foreign policy??? Image of Pakistan; What a joke! We already portrayed ourselves as terrorists in the entire world especially west by bombing our own people, blasting schools, mosques, churches and processions so what image are we talking about??? So what exactly are we trying to prove by saving red zone more than the rest of the country?? It seems we don’t care for the people and infrastructure elsewhere but only the Red Zone. Weren’t there demonstrations right in front of Supreme Court and Parliament while CJ movement???? Have we not witnessed the protests in front of White House or Queens Palace??? I wish the way the government is trying to protect the Red-Zone was protecting the worship places, the schools, our army installations, borders, and general public. Why all of a sudden everyone’s eyes popped out with the call for not to pay taxes??? Wow! It seems that we were So Perfect that every individual was acting like a responsible citizen and were paying taxes, especially the so-called leaders. Is this disobedience not already in this country??? Are we truly loyal and obedient while paying few bucks to a constable just to avoiding any hassle and delays in courts, a package deal with line-man for stress-free utility bills, driving violations, etc. What disobedience???... Why only now everyone got an itch of nationalism and democracy??? Where were these characters who suddenly feel insecure because of IK’s call when processions and demonstrations halt the entire Karachi on one call, when the bomb blasts terrorize the public and confine them to their houses, when a single armed man passes all the check posts and paralyze a major part of the capital for six hours, when a foreigner killed locals and given safe exit, when killing of innocent civilians is covered with the label of collateral damage, and many of such occurrences seriously mutilated the face and economy of this country??? We need to define our first choice and morality; to live freely and with pride or to keep serving the perverts and thugs as slaves. It is time to choose if we want a bright future or to pass on the same burden to the next generation…Trust Your Leader, Trust Imran Khan. ============================================
