CHRISTMAS ARTS MARKET Stevenson Park - Friendswood November 16, 2013 – 10-6 What an incredible event Art Dwellers has planned for Friendswood. Over 70 artist/crafter vendors will be participating this year. There will be performances by Gyrotonic Houston (aerial acrobats), St. Thomas’ Pipe Band, Nula Luna Belly Dancers, Chara Christian Dancers, The Purple Box Theatre, the Popstar Performers, Singer Mike Galvin, the Great Highland Bagpiper, Anat Ronen and Carol Wells Sidewalk Chalk Demo, and ABC Body Art. There will be many art demonstrations, a make and take area for the kiddos, wax hands, spin art with the Picasso Bus, a caricature artist, and so much more, including a visit from Santa from 2-3. Food will be in great supply, and of course many talented artists and crafters will be showcasing and selling their work just in time for Christmas. KSBJ will be onsite advertising the event, and will have a craft for the kiddos. This is a free event for the whole family. Donations for Bay Area Turning Point, Inc will be collected at the park Gazebo. They are in need of large child diapers and pull-ups, diaper bags, games, books for children of all ages, sippy cups with lids, children’s chewable Ibuprofen, women’s lightweight robes and slippers, and watches. A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit FISD through the Education Foundation, and the Friendswood Public Library.
