‘Shrug it off immediately! Remember you roll with THE CREATOR OF THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!’ That was my important reminder to myself yesterday! All day long, things will come at us, but I’m wisely learning to calm down and RUN to God in every decision! Looking at everything from God’s perspective, I’m able to distinguish between what’s important and what’s not important. And I’m choosing my battles very wisely knowing not every battle is ours to fight and sometimes we have to leave some people in God’s hands to deal with, worried about nothing and praying about everything! With this in mind, I free myself from so much pettiness and little frustrations that could easily take away my joy! This has really been life changing! Someone makes a comment I don’t like, ‘Shrug it off immediately!’ Someone does something inappropriate, ‘Ok, God, shrug this one off too!’ Something didn’t quite go the way I expected, Shrug it off and keep moving forward!’ And that doesn’t mean I shrug everything off! With God’s help, I determine the battles that are worth fighting and the boxing gloves are on! However, honestly, those battles have become far and few between! I laugh at myself as things that would usually upset me for days, now I can easily just professionally ignore them – kindly and respectfully, of course! Run to God from moment to moment going with the decision that brings you peace when you think about it! WE ROLL WITH GOD!
