Shubhoday Doston...! My song for the day is this sweet and really naughty number by Lata-Asha from Basant Bahar...a movie I was watching for some time...! Kaandhe laga laayi bindiya kisiki Jaanu mai churayi tune nindiya kisiki Laaj na aayi tose...ja re ja... Kavirajs poetry at its creative best...and the situation in the movie too is simply touching...Kumkums dance..abhinaya..is sheer joy..and Nimmis singing with Veena.. I salute the makers of the film to dare such a venture after Baiju Bawra..and the circumstances, which led to SJ getting the film...and they grabbing the opportunity without blinking...and upped the ante..to rise to meet the challenge... All this is a part of providence when working in favour.. So friends, when we rejoice and relish when the dice falls in our favor..so we must accept its consequences when it falls against us..as it did in Shankarjis last days...! I dedicate this number to the one and only Sudarshanji for his relentless pursuit to keep this flickering lamp lighting like a fanoos
