Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is celebrating 12 days of Sigma. We are national partners with the March of Dimes. Sisterhood, Scholarship and Service are our tenents. We focus on service as November is Prematurity Awareness Month. So please see the message sent to our chapter from the local March of Dimes, Richmond Chapter: The March of Dimes is competing with other area charities to be a Charity of Choice for the Deep Run Marathon Dance. Part of the selection requirements is our participation in the students fundraisers. PLEASE support/attend the Deep Run Marathon Dance Blood Drive -This Saturday (11/8) 10am and 4pm at Richmond Midas of Short Pump (located on the corner of Pump/Pouncey Track & W. Broad Street). The owner of Midas, Mark Smith, will donate $10 for every person who successfully donates blood. The DRMD goal is to have 100 people donate throughout the day and we are hoping that all organizations can send at least 2 people to donate blood. If you had plans to donate blood this month, please DONATE via this event! AND IF YOU ATTEND - please introduce yourself as a MARCH OF DIMES ambassador! THANKS SO MUCH!
