Silly adorable Nick was adopted from our shelter but his adopter is unable to keep him. Heres what a friend who knows him well had to say: This is my Fur Friend, Nick. I love him very much. He is a very good boy He was adopted from the Sonoma County Shelter on 12/13/2013 Unfortunately, he is no longer able to stay in his new home. He will be returning to the shelter as soon as they have room. Im hoping that he wont have to go back & that someone through the magic of FB will see his sweet big head and love him as much as I do. Nick is about 70? pounds. Staffordshire Terrier, neutered. 18 months. White with Brown Tiger Striped Patches. He knows several commands: Sit, Off, Up, Shake, Lay Down, & Kiss. *He is good in the car. *He is good with kids (older is better cause he can be rambunctious) *He loves the dog park & is good with all size dogs *He pays too much attention to cats. Will chase if the run but back off if they stand their ground. Probably a trainable thing but I would be cautious. *He walks & runs on leash well. He has separation anxiety. If left alone he will try very hard to reunite with you. (no barking that Im aware of). He also has a mild case of demodex which has likely been brought on by stress. With proper training and follow through Nick is a VERY trainable dog. He is food & tug toy motivated. Please let me know if you or someone you know is interested in fostering or adopting Nick.
