Simata: Why do Tongas have more cattle than Bembas? Tembo: I hear Kaunda gave cattle to both Tongas and Bembas. The Tongas kept the cattle very well until they multiplied, only thing they got was milk. But the Bembas instead slaughtered all their cattle in one day and made feasts saying "apatebeta Lesa tapafuka chushi, Lelo bwanana" and today they have no cattle left. Simata: what are the Bembas doing to have more cattle again coz they dont have enough stock? Tembo: these people are crafty, they now want their daughters to get married to Tonga men so that when charging dowery, they just say "we want 7 cattle, 2 bulls and 5 cows" but we all know that wanting Tonga men to marry Bembas wowen is just a strategy to re~stock Northern province with beef! #Slim~P
