#SinTHEORY 33 God is the worker We are his Workmanship Your personal self-generated FAITH isn’t what will matter before the throne of God We only manifest measures of FAITH from the abundance of the FAITH of CHRIST within us The progressive unbelief of a believer does not/ cannot nullify or reverse his salvation This concept is very vital, you have to understand it Believing the GOSPEL gets you into God’s kingdom and a believer’s futuristic unbelief does not nullify his salvation I know this sounds weird, but that is how God planned it o Ok? It’s not me Look at this story (Mar 4:35 KJV) And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. (Mar 4:36 KJV) And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. (Mar 4:37 KJV) And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. These are people that have seen many signs and wonders that Jesus performed They had been with Christ all these while Now there was a terrible storm and the disciples left Jesus and started attacking the storm with their own strength They left Grace and slipped into works They had given attention to the storms around them They lost their faith totally See what Jesus said to them afterwards (Mar 4:40 KJV) And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? There was no faith at all And truly, truly, JESUS was asleep here o. He wasn’t pretending So later, they got annoyed and said ‘why must master be sleeping in a time like this’ Hmmmmm, the issue was ‘even if they never woke him up, the storm only would have worried them longer THEY COULD NEVER HAVE CAPSIZED! THEY COULD NEVER HAVE PERISHED Because JESUS WAS IN THE BOAT! Anyway Finally, they woke him up, likely just to help them to control the ship (Mar 4:38 KJV) And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Brethren, these guys have lost Christ in their minds already Normally, they ought to have perished, because they have lost their faith But see what Jesus did (Mar 4:39 KJV) And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Hahahahahaha He simply delivered them o After which he corrected their unbelief (Mar 4:40 KJV) And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? You see HE never allowed their progressive unbelief to kill them Because they have accepted him into the boat already! You see brethren God will never use the punishment of hell to correct the progressive show-forth of unbelief of a CHRISTIAN o The intercessory mission of Christ takes care of that one too Brethren, it’s the sole responsibility of Christ alone to keep you save and secured eternally See this fact A Christian that stopped believing in what Jesus has done for him will only tarry longer in the storms of life But he will NEVER capsize His eternal Life won’t be reversed because of his futuristic unbelief That is how God has planned, initiated and perfected the plan of salvation He doesn’t toggle our eternal life in response to the faith we are manifesting (Joh 6:39 KJV) And this is the Fathers will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. (Joh 6:40 KJV) And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. It’s Jesus that mustn’t lose us, not otherwise We are God’s own responsibility Glory to God Am not saying this so that anyone can think he is free to sin o Am declaring this because I want you to see that CHRIST and the holy ghost IS ETERNALLY STUCK with you So the earlier you start walking in the spirit, THE BETTER! With your mouth, you confess your way unto salvation But with your mouth and attitude, YOU CANNOT undo the ETERNAL WORK OF GOD IN YOU! Your choice for life isn’t progressive It doesn’t change daily You see Adam disobeyed God, ate of that fruit of knowledge and HE DIED eternally And God respects that singular choice of his So, he moved him out of the garden so that he wouldn’t have access to the tree of Life! So that his choice for death will remain irreversible! Hey see Both the life and death in Genesis 2 and 3 are both spiritual LIFE reverses DEATH! If Adam had eaten of that tree of life after he fell HIS DEATH would have been reversed! (Not that he will become irredeemable) The Life is spiritual, so as the death So Adam chose Death Once And there wasn’t opportunity for him to undo the process Hmmmmm In like manner So also Any MAN that has believed the GOSPEL has received a LIFE that is ETERNAL You have chosen LIFE And the choice to undo that LIFE has been taken away from you NOW you are alive unto God FOREVER and Unconditionally This is the actual meaning of this verse (1Jn 3:1 KJV) Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. (1Jn 3:2 KJV) Beloved, now are we the sons of God, GLORY TO GOD! The Love is so enormous John 3 calls it a birth process TOTALLY IRREVERSIBLE The same way you can’t change your parentage The same way you cannot change your Father, that is the same way God is your DAD eternally THIS IS SALVATION! (Php 1:6 KJV) Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform [it] until the day of Jesus Christ: God started and perfected the entire plan, We only received a FINISHED work It’s not about our FAITH It’s all about the FAITH of CHRIST (Gal 2:16 KJV) Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Therefore It’s not our FAITH that keeps Christ within us It’s HIS FAITH that keeps us within HIM And the Faith of Christ is clearly demonstrated in His Death, burial and Resurrection Don’t fight this, instead, simply be grateful Hmmmm Lastly, God will not RISK hanging all HIS toils, travails and salvation plans on your personal Faith or consistency He doesn’t trust you to that extent LOl He doesn’t TRUST you to remain stable in faith He doesn’t trust you to maintain what He called ‘SO GREAT A SALVATION’ Imagine Nigeria government calling one local construction company from Ekiti state to maintain The 3rd MAINLAND BRIDGE built by Julius berger Does it make sense? KEPT by the POWER of GOD! NOT our POWER at all! So, backsliding DOESN’T mean losing SALVATION o Jude said it better (Jud 1:24 AMP) Now to Him Who is able to keep you without stumbling or slipping or falling, and to present [you] unblemished (blameless and faultless) before the presence of His glory in triumphant joy and exultation [with unspeakable, ecstatic delight]-- Any believer missing in Heaven will be accounted for by JESUS And you can be sure HE WONT LOSE one (Joh 10:28 KJV) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand. Na God dey speak o Absolute statement! Open challenge! (Joh 10:29 KJV) My Father, which gave [them] me, is greater than all; and no [man] is able to pluck [them] out of my Fathers hand. (Joh 10:30 KJV) I and [my] Father are one. Hope you have got something to confess now Say I am kept by the POWER of GOD I am in Christ eternally His finished work secures my eternal bliss and harmony His love keeps intoxicating me to serve HIM more and MORE GLORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
