Since 2001 the American govt have waged a war against terrorism with the attack on the taliban in the wake of sept 11. However the spate of terrorism has spread to an alarming rate with new battlefronts in previously safe areas like the Sahel region and other parts of the world. 12 yrs down the line and billion of dollers spent not to talk of thousands of lives and limbs lost. To what purpose is the American war on terror lunched?
