Since a lot of people have asked me about Tea Tree oil ill just do a post & speak to everyone.. OK.. so Tea Tree oil has a lot of benefits but most of you that use things with Tea tree dont know them & your just using it for that tingly soothing feeling that it gives.. On the down side when applying it to hair or skin often it can burn out the production of sebum, your bodies natural oil, in the folical & cause dryness of you hair or skin.. Tea Tree oil was originally & is most commonly used to kill bacteria & mold. Its great for our our fellow Caucasian LocStars that have to get mold under control if they dont properly dry their locs.... & most importantly applying products to the skin that contain tea tree oil along with lavender oil might not be safe for young boys who have not yet reached puberty. These products might have hormone effects that could disrupt the normal hormones in a boy’s body. In some cases, this has resulted in boys developing abnormal breast growth called gynecomastia. The safety of these products when used by young girls is not known. So this goes back to what I keep telling yall... Be SELF Informed!! Natural hair is where the money is at right now & its a lot of people out here thats pushing products & services that arent necessary... Healthy hair dnt take a lot.
