Since last night, 13 soldiers from the Israel Defense Forces Golani Brigade were killed while fighting Hamas terrorists in Gaza. Today, on the 13th day of war, we mourn with heavy hearts the absolutely devastating loss of those 13 brave souls. While most names have yet to be released, two have been. The first casualtys name that has been released is Max Steinberg (first photo on the top left), a Woodland Hills, Los Angeles native and volunteer in the Israel Defense Forces. The other is Sean Carmeli (other four photos), a Texas man with dual citizenship, who was currently living in Raanana, Israel. Today, for us Israelis and Jews alike, is a day of heavy grieving. May those young mens bravery not have been in vain, and may they rest in peace. God bless their memory, heroism and selfless hearts. :(
