Another long night in the Diva household, trying to cram about 72 hours worth of work in a 24-hour day, and Mr. Diva is snoozing away peacefully. Ill probably go to bed around the same time he wakes up, sleep for a couple of hours, and jump right back into things. Good thing my NFL team has a Bye week and isnt playing today or Id likely sleep through the game. Our book discussion last night was phenomenal, so we are going to continue to offer a group read each month, followed by an evening of discussion to reflect on what weve read. Participation in either the suggested book of the month or the discussion is completely voluntary. You are still free to read whatever you like to meet your Twelve in 12 challenge of one book a month for an entire year. The group reading suggestion for November is Lone Survivor by Marcus Luttrell. Please look for the event post on the page and let us know if you plan to attend the discussion night. We set up a group chat here on Facebook, and it seems to work out very well. If you have not seen the movie based on this book, there is a photo montage at the end, following the dedication to the heroes of Operation Red Wing, and the montage is accompanied by Peter Gabriel singing Heroes. Since you wont get this by reading the book, I thought Id share the ending photos and music with you.
