Since to is Ash Wednesday I woke up at 5:45 am to go to church . As Im getting ready to leave Natalie gets up and says she is going too . I said ok but you have to go to school after . So as a catholic we have ashes put on our forehead like a cross symbolize humility and sacrifice . So Natalie went up and had the placed on her forehead too . As we are going to school I tell her you can wash them off if you want so the kids dont make fun of you . She says no its my religion and this is what we do . I said to her arent you afraid they will laugh at you she says to me no cause I know what it stands for and thats all that matters :) made me happy to hear she doesnt care what people think about her :)
