Since we didnt have a book on deck after finishing Frankenstein (which Boyd loved,by the way) we chose Robin Hood from the existing library here in the house. Hes more than open to the theme,but Im afraid the language is losing him. The characters all speak in the Olde English dialect and Im tripping over it and he seems distracted. Much as I hate it we may need to rethink this choice. Going to go looking for something else tomorrow. Im thinking 20,000 Leagues Under the Seawould do the trick,if I can find an appropriate (Classics Illustrated) copy.
