Sitting here in Restraunt waiting for brekkie sipping my coffee ..there are 3 groups of men sitting in there talking about work ..banking..farming.. This one group of men is talking about looking for someone who can operate and run there outfit here in Christchurch. ..theyre looking for someone with peoples skills and is friendly and able to get there hands dirty to operate a few machines if need be and can drive a van to make deliveries around the city. . So I open my big mouth n say....IL do it IL work for you...with a big smile and the 3 pakeha men look and laugh. . And one of them said where are you from? I said Wellington ..but Im here for awhile doing some operations training. . They look and say what type? Im working at nzpost training machine operators. . Men - Oh well ok...ummmmm how about you give me your details cos we have a sister company in lower Hutt that will be needing someone for day shift operations.
